YWCA Clark County, founded in 1916, is a mission-driven, multi-service organization dedicated to empowering women, preventing violence and eliminating racism and other forms of oppression. Each year, YWCA Clark County serves over 10,000 women, children, youth and men, through the following programs:
- CASA:
Providing advocacy for neglected, abused or abandoned children involved
in the court and foster care system.

Helping youth in foster care, ages 16-21, identify and acquire skills
they will need as they transition from state-supported care to independent
living.
- SafeChoice:
Serving victims of domestic violence by providing a 24-hour crisis line,
shelter, a children's advocacy program, legal advocacy, counseling,
support groups and community education.
- Sexual Assault Program: Serving
victims of sexual assault and their families through 24-hour advocacy,
individual therapy, support groups and community education.
- WORTH: Providing
support and advocacy to women who are incarcerated and transitioning
back into the community.
- Y's Care: Serving
homeless children ages 2.5 to 5, providing early childhood education
and licensed, nurturing child care while parents attend to family needs
