What Does Membership Mean?
Membership is a statement of support for the YWCA's mission.
As a member, you will:
- help end domestic violence, child abuse and neglect,
sexual assault, and homelessness.
- promote
increased awareness about women's needs and issues, family crisis prevention
and improved health and well-being.
- be
a decision maker who helps guide key events and organizational
issues of the YWCA.
- be
a leader who participates in decisions that make a difference
in our community.
How Can I Get More Involved?
Advocate
As a member of YWCA Clark County you have the power to advocate
for the needs of women and support your community.
Volunteer
Volunteer your time at YWCA Clark County. There are many opportunities
to support the needs of women through our programs.
Lead
Volunteer your time at YWCA Clark County in a leadership capacity.
Committee members help our organization raise funds and provide
guidance in key program areas. Board members help provide guidance
for the organization, ensuring sustained services for women today
and in our future.
Participate
Attend public forums and special events to learn more about advocacy
and show your support.
