kayla tiano

Kayla Tiano retired in 2005 after 28 years as a Delta Airlines flight attendant. She is married to Robert Foster, a retired Delta airlines captain. They have lived in Clark County for 14 years. After retirement, Kayla missed working with the public and felt a good transition would be to volunteer for the YWCA. She found that she enjoyed doing procurements for the Y's Annual Benefit Auction, and for the last five years, has been going out into the community procuring auction items from different businesses and explaining the importance of the programs that help the children, women and families of Clark County. She co-chaired the YWCA's auction in 2006 and chaired the auction in 2007. Kayla also has volunteered with RockSolid Teen Center in Brush Prairie, and she attends various local events to show her support for the community. Kayla reports that volunteering for the YWCA has become a passion of hers, and her goal is to be able to further strengthen its presence and programs through her work on the board.
