Leilani Russell

The 2005 recipient of the YWCA’s Racial Justice Award, Ms. Russell recently served as the Multicultural Coordinator at Evergreen High School, training diversity trainers for the Evergreen School District and co-facilitating the Diversity Youth in Leadership program for both the Evergreen and Vancouver School Districts. She is actively involved in the Washington State Board of Education Equity Committee, the Office of the Superintendent of Public Instruction (OSPI) multi-ethnic think tanks, OSPI Bias and Fairness Review Committees and the National Association of Multicultural Education. She is also on the board of the Washington State Association of Multicultural Education.
