Megan Patrick

megan patrick-vaughan

Megan Patrick-Vaughan was born in Eastern Washington, graduated from Pasco High School, and studied journalism and fine arts at Washington State University in Pullman. She graduated with a degree in communication with an emphasis in print journalism in 2004. Ms. Patrick worked as a reporter, designer and opinion editor of WSU’s student newspaper, The Daily Evergreen, and completed internships with the WSU News Bureau, the Tri-City Herald and Seattle Post-Intelligencer. She studied in Seville, Spain and took the opportunity to travel throughout that country. Her experiences exposed to her to different cultures and ignited a passion for travel.

Back in the states, she covered the Nez Perce Indian Tribe, law enforcement, and the legal system at her first professional position as a reporter for the Lewiston Tribune. She joined the staff at the Vancouver Business Journal in 2006 and is enjoying Vancouver tremendously. She was recently promoted to Managing Editor of the Journal. Megan joined the Board in 2007.
