Party like Rockstars" raises $142,350
On Saturday, May 3, over 320 people "Partied like Rockstars" to support YWCA Clark County. The event raised $142,350.
Funds raised at the event, held at the Hilton Vancouver Washington, will go to support prevention education as well as life-changing services for victims of child abuse, domestic violence, sexual assault and homelessness. Guests were also treated to a performance by the "First Independent Rockstar Divas," who portrayed famous female rock stars. (See photo below.)
Guests enjoyed "fun stations" including Dance Dance Revolution, Guitar Hero and a free photo booth. Raffle items including a men's Giantto watch from Erik Runyan Jewelers were also popular.
First Independent was the event's presenting sponsor. The Columbian was the event's Corporate Partner. The Platinum Rock Star was Adco Commercial Printing and Graphics, LLC. Gold Rock Stars were Corwin Beverage Co., The Vancouver Clinic, and Tidewater.
