The empowerment of women and girls and the elimination of oppression, racism and discrimination are the heart and soul of the YWCA mission. Policy Statement Because YWCA Clark County is committed to the elimination of racism and the empowerment of women, we support public policies and activities that are aimed at protection from discrimination based on race, gender, socioeconomic status, religious affiliation, ethnicity, disability, age and sexual orientation.
