application process

To be considered for an open position, you must complete and return the Employment Application form. You may also complete and return the Voluntary Self ID form and the Voluntary Self ID of Disability form.  These additional forms are not required, however they allow YWCA Clark County to collect demographic information regarding our applicants.  This information will be used for only for Federal reporting purposes, and only in aggregate.

When will the application I've submitted be reviewed?

Our review process typically takes 1-2 weeks and includes a thorough review of how well each applicant demonstrates their ability to fulfill the requirements of the applied for position. To ensure the review process is done in a timely process, please do not email or call to check on the status of the position.

When will I be notified?

Applicants who best demonstrate their ability to effectively fill an open position will be emailed 1-2 weeks from the position's close date. This email will include additional information about next steps and will require a response, so please make sure to check your email regularly.

If you haven't heard from us two weeks after the position's close date, please send an email to hr@ywcaclarkcounty.org to request a status update.

What is the interview process like?

The interview process will change depending on the position. However, all positions do require a phone screen and one in-person interview. Additional information will be provided to applicants who have been selected to move forward with our process.
